The unit we got was well-maintained and spacious, featuring a large terrace and a wonderful balcony, plus a fridge for convenience. the place had a special atmosphere that made our stay truly enjoyable. the location was fantastic, situated in a stunning area very close to the railway station while still offering a fairly quiet environment.

Location adjacent to a quiet beach, an island abounding in spice gardens and the restaurant. Modern, spotless unit with a really comfortable sofa bed, TV, for example. Delicious food for dinner and breakfast.

The staff here was always friendly, and we would definitely come back. the venue was clean and spacious, plus it had an amazing location right by a beautiful beach. We loved being able to swim in the ocean too! 🌊.

This place is ideally located near a restaurant, has a beautiful clean beach and lake, and sits by the river.

brilliant posittion for a base to see the island. the staff were exellent, very friendly, and made you feel welcome.the rooms were exellent for the money and the hotel is exeptional considering it only has a 3 star rating.the menu was not very varied but the food was good.there was some renovation work being caried out at the time but this was not any inconvenienc and the hotel will look even better when the work is complete.I would definately visit this hotel again in the near future, and our stay gets the thumbs up. Oasey Beach was a very relaxing hotel to stay. The location was excellant, the staff extremley good and friendly and the pool great too

The rooms at Oasey Beach Hotel are absolutely amazing! They are big, bright, and airy, making you feel like you're floating on a cloud. The private balconies offer stunning views of the ocean, and you can easily access the beach whenever you want. I loved the select rooms with the large living area facing the beach, it was like having my own personal paradise. And the spacious triple room was a dream come true, with air conditioning, a minibar, a terrace with sea views, and a walk-in shower in the private bathroom. It was everything I needed for a perfect beach getaway.

Personally, I found nothing to complain about.

The hotel is private and cosy as it only has 16 rooms. It has a good pool and sea-front which offers spectacular sunsets on clear days. The long stretch of beach is lovely to walk and/or jog along. The hotel also has an ayurvedic massage centre in-house. The rooms are huge and each has a nice balcony to sit and chill out. The staff were very warm and attentive to our needs. However, its cafe had a limited selection in their menu, possibly because it is a small hotel, but they made the effort of offering a different local breakfast every morning that we were there. Like most Sri Lankan f&b locations, one would have to wait for some time for your food, so if one is planning on having lunch or dinner in-house, it may be better to order the food in advance and advise them what time to expect you.

The outside of the hotel could use a fresh coat of paint as one would be worried on arrival when looking in from the outside. The toiletries should, by default include a shower-cap and hair-dryer. If you are a light sleeper, be prepared to be awoken periodically by tooting of air- horns of passing heavy vehicles on the main-road which is close to the hotel or by trains passing by on the tracks across the road. One disappointment was that satellite-television is only available in the lobby of the hotel and not in the rooms. There are only two channels on the tv in the room - FashionTV and a retail channel. Families with young children should be aware that it is not possible and highly dangerous to venture into the sea as the currents are very strong.

The food was excellent and the service of staff was top notch.

The pillows were rocks and the bedding could be a bit newer / more modern.
